Charades Rules, Timing and Scoring
Charades has no governing body, so the rules that matter are the ones the room agrees on before the first turn โ especially the time limit and what counts as a valid clue.
The standard turn
- Two teams; one player acts while their own team guesses.
- Sixty seconds per turn is the usual limit.
- No speaking, no mouthing words, no pointing at objects in the room.

- One point per correct guess โ simplest, and fine for casual play.
